NEW YORK (AP) — ABC News "Nightline" anchor Terry Moran is getting a new posting as the London-based chief foreign correspondent for the network. Moran was ABC's chief White House correspondent from 1999 to 2005 and has done many overseas and domestic stories for "Nightline," most recently from Syria.

NEW YORK (AP) — Valerie Harper has agreed to give a first-person account of her battle with terminal cancer to NBC News. The network says Meredith Vieira will host the documentary, which will air in prime time.

In a statement Tuesday, producer Lionsgate says the actress won't be returning to the FX comedy. The sitcom represents Sheen's TV series comeback after he was fired from CBS' "Two and a Half Men" in 2011 after clashing with producers.

(AP) — A woman has been sentenced to eight days in jail for stealing a former "American Idol" contestant's iPhone while the singer was performing at a California elementary school. Hall and a school security guard used the "Find My iPhone" feature on the device to track the phone to a grocery store where Avalos was shopping with her son, a student at the school.

STAMFORD, Conn. (AP) — The Stanley Cup finals' Game 3 drew the most viewers for the NHL on NBC Sports Network since the cable channel started televising the league in 2006. The Bruins' 2-0 win over the Chicago Blackhawks on Monday night averaged just over 4 million viewers, topping the 3.96 million for Boston's overtime victory in Game 2. It's nearly double the close to 2.1 million for the second finals game on the network last year, Game 4 between the Devils and Kings.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — DreamWorks Animation SKG Inc., the studio behind "Shrek" and "Kung Fu Panda," said Tuesday that a new deal to provide original TV shows to Netflix will help it double the revenue it gets from TV shows to $200 million by 2015. DreamWorks' multi-year deal with Netflix — and other operators it plans to announce soon — should help smooth out some of the lumps in its quarterly results, which have been largely dependent on when its two or three big-budget movies come out every year. The deal allows Netflix to debut the shows to streaming customers in the 40 markets where the Los Gatos, Calif., video company operates. Katzenberg told The Associated Press after the call that DreamWorks is already managing three different TV shows on its own: the second season of "Dragons," a series based on the upcoming movie "Turbo," and a third show that hasn't been announced.

Kansas Athletics and IMG College, along with Time Warner Cable and Kansas City's Metro Sports, announced Monday that beginning in the 2013-14 school year, Metro Sports will televise more than 50 live Kansas events on the revamped Jayhawk Network, along with 600 hours of programing such as pre- and postgame shows for Jayhawk football and men's basketball games and a weekly magazine-style show. The deal also includes "Hawk Talk" radio show simulcasts, a social-media-centered show for fans, live coverage of news conferences, a "Jayhawk Rewind" highlight show, a quarterly "Jayhawk Legends" series and quarterly Kansas academic specials, The Lawrence Journal-World reported (http://bit.ly/11WuzIl ).
