A cast and crew of more than 200 students from Central Middle School, Julian Curtiss School, North Street School and Cos Cob School will showcase their talents in "SuperShow 2011" at 7 p.m. on Feb. 4 and Feb. 5 in the George Sepe Auditorium at Central Middle School.
The non-traditional evening of song, dance and skits centers on a four-part theme of television, movies, Broadway and the Internet, and the performance will take on a fast-paced, variety show format.
The audience will be divided into two super-hero teams and, between acts, will be invited to compete in rounds of quizzes and games in the auditorium's aisles and on stage.
The Colgate Thirteen, a group that includes two "SuperShow" alumni, will return for a second year to join the show with an a cappella singing performance.
Tickets for "SuperShow 2011" are sold in advance. A limited number of tickets are available to the public at $10 each by calling Leslie Yager at 203-622-1731.
