The wheeling and dealing and the ups and downs of the hedge fund world, as seen through the downfall of the Galleon Hedge Fund, is the subject of Greenwich Libraryís upcoming Sunday AuthorsLive program. The event features Malaysian born Anita Raghavan, a veteran journalist and author of ìThe Billionaireís Apprenticeî which tells the story of the rise and fall of the Galleon Hedge Fund and its Indian founder, Raj Rajaratnam, and his accomplices -- mainly Rajat Gupta, former head of McKinsey and board member at Goldman Sachs. Stepping up to moderate Raghavanís talk will be Greenwichís Rob Morris, founder/managing partner of the Stamford-based private equity firm, Olympus Partners. Raghavanís book was short-listed for the Financial Times and Goldman Sachs Business Book of the Year award. The event is free and takes place from 3:30 - 5 p.m.this Sunday at the Cole Auditorium at Greenwich Library.
