The driver told police he had a license, but had left it at home. The teen also gave police a false name and date of birth, which only compounded his problems, as police discovered he had never been issued a driver's license.
Police also said the teen was using an unregistered car belonging to a person who is out of town at the moment. The driver said he knows the person.
The teen was charged with interfering with an officer (for giving the false information), operating an unregistered motor vehicle, driving without a license and using a motor vehicle without permission.
Officer Christopher Rosado made the arrest.
