Patricia Anne Havey

Patricia Anne Havey, a longtime resident of Bethel, died June 30, 2005 of ovarian cancer at Danbury Hospital. She was 61.

Patricia was born April 3, 1944 in Weehawken, N.J., the daughter of Daniel J. and Theresa Delaney (Fileccia). Patricia was a 20-year teacher of Spanish in Bethel High School and was the winner of the 2005 Teacher of the Year award. She attended the College of St. Elizabeth and received a Master Degree at Sacred Heart University.

She is survived by her husband, Lawrence Havey of Bethel; her children and their spouses, Kathleen Havey and husband David Early, of Falls Church, VA, Lawrence Havey and wife Cate, of Bethel, Timothy Havey of Lakewood CO, Kevin Havey of Bethel; her mother, Theresa Delaney of Fort Lee, NJ; one sister, Kathleen Meyer of Cochecton, NY; one brother, Daniel Delaney of Cornwall, NY and three grandchildren.

Friends may call at the Green Funeral Home on Sunday from 5 to 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday July 5, 10:00 a.m. St. Mary Church in Bethel. Interment to follow St. Mary Cemetery, Bethel.
