NEW YORK (AP) — Some last remnants of the holiday season are being taken care of this weekend.

For anyone looking to finally get rid of their Christmas trees, the city is holding MulchFest. The trees get recycled into mulch that's used on trees and plants around the city.

And the most high-profile Christmas tree in New York City has also come down. The 74-foot-tall Norway spruce at Rockefeller Center was taken down this weekend.
