She worked as bindery room supervisor at Conde Nast Publications, retiring after many years of employment.
Mrs. Bennett was a longtime member of the North Stamford 7th Day Adventist Church and more recently, the Danbury-Bethel 7th Day Adventists. She loved music, dancing, boating and going to the beach, and she had an extensive spoon collection from all over the world. She was also a member of a quilting club.
Mrs. Bennett is survived by two sons, Arthur of Norwalk and Richard of New Milford; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by three sisters and three brothers.
