More than 350 people attended Greenwich-based Time for Lyme's third annual fundraising Fall Boutique and Appraisal Day this past Tuesday at the Christ Church Parish Hall in Greenwich.
The event featured more than 20 vendors who donated a portion of proceeds from boutique sales to Time for Lyme, which raises money to fund and promote research for Lyme and other tick-borne diseases.
In addition, some 50 attendees brought their valuables and heirlooms for appraisal by two former with Sotheby appraisers; Lark E. Mason Jr., owner of the online auction site, www.igavelauctions.com. and Helen F. Kippax of The Antiques Brokerage House, Ltd., an art consulting and appraisal business.
All proceeds from the appraisals were donated to Time for Lyme.
