A Quarry Knoll resident who did not want to be identified holds up a Greenwich Housing Authority letter Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 1, 2010, stating that the clotheslines at the town-owned housing complex will be taken down some time Thursday morning. This resident said she is against having the clothelines taken out because she lives on a fixed income and the dryers in the complex are costly. She also said that she fears the town will not take the clotheslines out properly and that they could then be a hidden hazard in the ground.
