GOP's Board of Education candidates praise school staff

Republican candidates for the Board of Education in New Milford have issued a press release expressing their appreciation to the staff of the New Milford public school system.

"Each of you have a positive direct impact working with our children on a daily basis, providing not only the fundamentals of proper education, but life as well," said the GOP candidates.

As school board candidates, Wendy Faulenbach, William Wellman, Nancy Tarascio-Latour, Lynette Celli Rigdon, Daniel Nichols and Stella Vendetti said they are "committed to working as a team with our staff and community in its entirety."

"Education has changed over the years," the statement said, "and we as a community must embrace those changes and challenges."

"We would be honored to receive your support on election day," said the Republican candidates.
