ELBOW POSTERIOR VIEW - The symptoms for golfers elbow, also called pitcher's elbow and climber's elbow, include pain of the inner side of the elbow, which can also radiate into your forearm and hand. Metzl recommends dynamic rest, ice then heat, an antinflamatory such as ibuprofen or naproxen and an elbow strap or brace. He says three simple exercises can recondition your arm: the tennis ball squeeze, arm rotations and wrist extension and flexion.

The plank is a good remedy for oblique strain, says Metzl. He says to get into pushup position, bending your elbows with your weight on your forearms, so your body forms a straight line from your shoulders to your ankles. Then, he says, brace your core and hold.

KNEE AND BLOOD VESSELS SUPERFICIAL VIEW - Common knee injuries, says Metzl, include Patellar Tendinities (jumper's knee), a pain below the kneecap and at the top of the tibia. Metzl says this is a classic overuse injury usually caused by violating the "too" rule - too much, too fast. It's most common, he says, in people who play jumping sports such as basketball and volleyball. To prevent it, Metzel recommends stretching your quads and hamstrings, While he says he's not usually a fan of leg extensions as a regular training exercise, he says ecentric training, or leg extensions where you lower a eight slowly after lifting it at normal speed, can be effective for rehab in this type of injury. To treat it, he recomments laying off intense exertion, ice, a tendon strap and massage.
