Teams from all over Connecticut converged at the Wilton Y this past weekend for the 13 and Over Connecticut Y States Championships -- but it was the YMCA Greenwich Marlins who made the biggest splash at the two-meet. Facing off against the likes of the Greenwich Dolphins, the Darien Piranhas, the Cheshire SeaDogs and the New Canaan Caimans, the Marlins' 27-member team wracked up 24 firsts. "Our success at this meet was a team effort," said Connie Wu, Greenwich YMCA Marlins head coach. "The kids have worked very hard and we are very proud of them all."
