NEWTOWN - SCAN, The Society of Creative Arts of Newtown, will have Paul McCormack of Glemham, N.Y. to demonstrate painting a portrait from a live model in watercolor at the group's next meeting, Wednesday July 13 at 7:30 p.m.

This demonstration will take place at the Newtown Meeting House (lower level) on Main Street at the flagpole. The public is invited and admission is free.

Throughout the years he has been the recipient of many honors. In 2000 he received the "Paul Strisik Memorial Award for Excellence" at the Annual Exhibition of the Hudson Valley Art Association.

In 1999 he won awards at both the Allied Artists of America Annual Exhibition and the Hudson Valley Art Association Annual.
